Local Charities in Richmond Hill and How to Support Them

Richmond Hill and York Region are home to organizations that help residents access food, youth mentorship, housing support, and community care. These charities rely on donations, volunteers, local partners, and neighbours who want to make a difference close to home.
We are proud to be part of a community where people continue to support one another. Over the years, Wilson Niblett Motors has had the opportunity to contribute to local causes focused on food security, youth support, and care for families across the region.
Richmond Hill Community Food Bank
The Richmond Hill Community Food Bank provides temporary emergency food assistance to people in need in Richmond Hill and Thornhill. The organization is independently run and supported by volunteers, food donations, and financial gifts from the community.
Wilson Niblett Motors has been grateful to support the food bank through local giving, with staff also helping nominate and vote for charities to receive support.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York supports young people through mentorship programs that help build confidence, connection, and positive development. These relationships can give youth a trusted role model, a stronger sense of belonging, and more support as they grow.
We were honoured to support the organization's Be BIG, Give Back campaign by matching donations up to $15,000, helping community gifts go further for local youth mentorship.

360 Kids
360 Kids supports youth up to age 26 who may be facing homelessness, housing instability, family conflict, food insecurity, or other barriers. Its programs help young people access safety, resources, guidance, and opportunities to move forward.
Wilson Niblett and CanadaOne Auto Group were proud to contribute $15,000 in support of 360 Kids and its work with vulnerable youth across York Region.
