Wilson Niblett Motors Limited's Community Involvement

Wilson Niblett Motors Limited has been proud to be able to support a variety of initiatives throughout the Durham Region year after year. There are some incredible organizations within the Durham Region that are making big differences and we’re excited to be able to take a small role in the change they are inspiring. Mental Health is a major initiative for us as it affects everyone at some point. Organizations like the Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health are doing a lot for those who are struggling the most with their mental health but we’re also excited to support organizations like Autism Dog Services, Community Care Durham, Melly’s Workplace and The Refuge Youth Outreach Centre as they work to empower individuals and provide them with the tools they need to embrace every day.

Through Canada One Auto Group and Pat and Diana Priestner and family, Wilson Niblett Motors Limited is lucky to be able to support Wellbeing-Canada, a new initiative driven by the belief that every person in Canada deserves well-being and access to tools that support positive mental health.

A focus on promotion and prevention

Starting with Canada’s youth, Well-being Canada is helping to build a healthier future generation. Our K-12 program empowers students with the essential skills and tools they need to build resilience, foster self-care habits and translate knowledge into impactful action. As we incorporate social-emotional learning and mental health literacy into the core curriculum nationwide, we break down stigma and equip our youth with formidable competencies, championing their lifelong well-being.

And watch for new resources for the family and workplace in 2024!
